By accessing or using The Vibe Check Project website and services at thevibecheckproject.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

The Vibe Check Project provides a free online card-sending service that lets people send personalized affirmation cards to friends, family, and colleagues via a shareable link. We also offer optional paid products:

  • Stripe Premium Unlock ($4.99 one-time) — 10+ premium card design themes (with more constantly added) and all sounds unlocked in your browser for personal use

We do not provide therapy, counseling, or medical advice. Our content is for positive emotional support and inspiration only. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or call your local emergency services.

3. No Account Required

The core card-sending service requires no account creation. You may optionally provide an email address to subscribe to our free email list. Email subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use this service to:

  • Send harmful, harassing, threatening, or offensive content to recipients
  • Impersonate another person or send cards under false pretenses intended to deceive or harm
  • Spam or send unsolicited bulk messages
  • Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or disrupt our site or servers
  • Use automated tools to scrape content or submit cards at scale

Card Content Guidelines

  • Messages should be appropriate for general audiences
  • Do not include personal contact information, links, or promotional content in card messages
  • We reserve the right to remove any card or block any sender who violates these guidelines

5. Intellectual Property

The Vibe Check Project's card designs, affirmations, blog content, and website code are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission. The personal messages you write on cards remain yours — we do not claim ownership over them.

6. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use information.

7. Paid Services — Stripe

The Premium Unlock is processed through Stripe. Stripe has their own terms of service and privacy policies. We do not store your payment information.

Stripe Premium Unlock ($4.99 one-time): Grants lifetime browser access to premium card designs and sounds. Non-refundable once access is granted unless there is a technical issue preventing access. Contact us and we'll make it right.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that affirmations or card messages will produce any specific emotional outcome. Our content is for inspiration and positive support — not a substitute for professional mental health care.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Vibe Check Project shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate jurisdiction.
